If I were using 36 volts I would be using golf cart batteries. Most electric golf carts run a series of 6 volt batteries to get the 36 volts. Perhaps they are using it this way somehow. Hmmm... intersting food for thought because I am about to buy a golf cart to use as a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle. I plan to recharge the batteries using wind and or solar.
