I still beleive that real 3 phase is when a magnet energizes 3 coils at different
times.

If not a 24 coil stator could produce 24 phase power??

check that website it seems to be a correct theory.
I remember a long time ago i asked the question, why is the neutral wire the same size as the other phases?? why does it not burn carrying 3 times the current?

The answer i was given is because the timing is different for every phase, thus
supporting the 3 coil per magnet theory.

just my 2 cents...not trying to make an argument,...just trying to learn..
