Dan,
I took the numbers you provided in this post (good info provided) and ran a few additional calculations and as I see it you will be needing to make a new prop for this one. Something in the neighborhood of 20 ft diameter if you want to run this PMA at it likely full potential. What RPM / wind speed are you planning for cutin?

Hi John -
I'll probalby shoot for cutin around 80 rpm - perhaps a touch faster. I worry a bit about heat, so well probalby run slightly fewer windings (and slightly higher cutin). After we figure line loss and all - my guess is it will be pretty happpy with a slow 17'ish (give or take a bit) prop. We'll see when I get the stator together!
