nice job ghurd,
i think this fits in your catagory of inexpensive science projects.
i made this cool looking turbine out of a bicycle rear wheel with the blades made from  horizontal blinds hot glued to the spokes
This is the back.
it has a surprising amount of torque
it's built on a 16 1/2 " wheel
