I thought it was funny that they concluded that skewing was more expensive to implement into a design as well. Rich

I recently overly turned down an induction rotor. It fell apart (knew it would, just not so soon).
Closer looking showed that really is a pretty complicated device.
I too can't believe skewing a magnet would be expensive compared to the regular old rotor manufacturing.
Maybe a twisted and curved magnet is too expensive, but I thought neo's could be sintered, and I thought sintering was cheap. I don't know....
