Hmm, how many turns and what size wire for a 48 volt machine? While we are at it, what size air gap. One turn would probably get you too much voltage. :( But think of what you could power. :) Of course you'd have to get a really tall tower and the jet stream to cooperate in order to spin the props of the yet to be invented lightweight super strong material you would need to build them from. On the other hand, a levitation experiment with a diamagnetic block might be really simple provided you could fire up the magnet for more than a few femtoseconds. Rich
