I've met Michael Arquin, the founder of KidWind, in person.
Great guy, great organization. And they give great seminars for teachers on how to teach wind power to kids.
The little DC motor they sell works nicely for science fair wind projects (it's low RPM, hard to find!) and the gearing system they sell is cool too.
