Maybe I have just miss read the issue, but it seems to me there is no way to know comments are disabled without bringing up the post. I would prefer to see immediately that these posts are disabled. Why bring up something you can't respond to? Case in point. You disabled comments to my previous "Scam" rant. I was not aware of that for some time. I just thought there was a lack of interest, but now I wonder how many hits that had by people that might have something to say. Anyway, good luck with this new approach.

If you can modify the subject or title you could add "[Closed]" or similar. I know it's more work but it'd save everyone else some time. take it easy
