He cannot wire for 96V with an MX60

Maximum Voc for a MX60 is 150V, I believe it suspends operation at anything over 140V as well.  KC130s have a Voc of 21.9V Eight in series would be over 175Voc at STC of 77F.

If he lives in a cold climate, it would not be advisable to even wire for 72V, as Voc at 77F would be 131.4V.  KC130's temperature coefficient is .0821V/degree C. So at 0F Voc per panel is   23.95V x 6 (for 72V nominal) = 143.7V

With 20 panels he should be able to wire for 60V without bumping up against the MX60s limits.

Which brings me back to my original point :-)
