Here's another example of BT's program at work.

This was the bottom right meter(Weston)from a VOM. I found through trial and error a 17k5 resistor gave me 22 volts full deflection.



This Triplett was a 1 Amp meter so I cut the internal shunt and added an external one using 18 inches of 14 AWG solid core wire. Started with 24 inches and kept cutting off pieces until the amps matched my fluke meter at 4 Amps. Then I just used white out correction fluid to make the dots disappear and added a zero to the end 1 digit.
