Now who said I only write gibberish in my diary and never post or comment on real projects? I searched the board first, of course, which is where I found the spelling, "Aluminum trihydrate" then I saw that US Composites sell this powder as well as the resin and glass cloth I needed, so I ordered it. Hope I guessed right.
Anyway I am getting frustrated waiting for and dealing with our local community college to get what we need to build our wind turbines, so today I ordered three axle-hub assembles from E-trailer as well as the resin and aluminum trihydrate powder. I can't wait to get started on the stators. I already have a set of neodymium magnets thanks to the guys at 0therpower.
Still needed is the guy wire for a 60 foot, 4inch thin wall square tube tower I am building. Anyone want to jump in and hook me up with a decent stainless steel cable source? I'm in New Mexico shipping being a concern.

Boss, Why square? Can't say it will be strong as a round tube.

Brian

With you being in New Mexico I think stainless steel cable would be way over kill.
I would just go with a good galvanize cable and use the money saved on the rest of the system.
Stainless isn't cheap.
