I'm not sure that tower design has much advantage over more conventional designs.  Mick Sagrillo had one last time we were in Wisconsin (he was planning to take it down).  I thought it looked rather funny and a bit scary to climb.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess...

I commend that little dog for quadripawsedly raising that tower on his own...

That thar is a workin' dog.

Them other dogs in the second picture were clearly of no help...
