IMHO, abbreviations and technical terms that are known to be unfamiliar to newbs (like me) should be in the FAQ's. I know many newbs will demand answers to basic questions without looking at the FAQ first, but...
PS does PhD stand for please hire, desperate, or piled higher and deeper? (ROTFLMAO)
