They might need a little strengthening of parts, but it is possible to get some power out of them.

Wow, he seems to have a good grip on making a good DC gen.

If you just push a ceiling fan it seems like low winds would crank it pretty good.

If anyone is thinking about it, avoid the stores and just jump on craigslist...loads and loads of them there.
