well i thought i would have a big problem there but i have done it.  wasent so bad.  now i need to ask if the drawing i have done with the bits i have will work or not.   maybe the power will go up and down to much the relay will just chatter.   but its how i see to do this.   maybe i would be better posting this on controls.   can i try use this to heat water?   its a ill wind that dos no good

Fine use. I have a distaste for relays.  2 cent personal opinion. And I have some power fets that can take the 140W each easy enough, I think. They are 0.0045 ohms. Cheaper than a relay too. Back on topic, try saving a file of that type can be pretty nice as a '.gif', in a very small size. Check my files for gifs and their sizes. G- [ Parent ]

three cheers for blueyonder for having horse sense. and i usually convert bitmaps to .gif format it is done the exact same way you converted that one except you select .gif instead of .jpg convention says .gif for drawings .jpeg for pictures. http://www.reresource.org/ IRC [ Parent ]

That image is only 44KB. Converting it to a .gif of the same quality brings it down to about 25KB - not quite in half, but pretty close. A low quality .gif version would probably be fine and be smaller still. You might want to check out Easily resize images for this site and Resizing Photos Made Easy too.
