Sure, but what about downward/upward turbulence turbulence?  The whole point of having a sphere is to avoid any "tracking" mechanism.

Turbulence.

My 1st thought is the downwind side of the working fans.  That will slow the air through going through.  Wind shadow.  My open hand and part of my arm stretched out 1 meter behind a 1 meter prop makes a drastic difference in output.

My 2nd thought is the fans at the front will have less pressure, like that blowing shop-vac & ping-pong ball demonstration of Bernoulli's principle.
I find it a very interesting idea related to nose cones and such, and I have no clue if I'm thinking about it right.

Tracking isn't so bad.  It is a lot more predictable than I thought.
No problems for me.
