The TLG site says that the 38 volt 1150rpm ameteks aren't much good for anything over an amp or so.....guess they have real fine wire inside them....

I've got three ametek motors that all have the 30 volt sticker on them......and only one is probably a 30 volt...another is probably one of those 38 volt motors....because it's only good for a trickle.....even in  high winds..there's just no amperage there....and the third is a 5" motor that definately not a 30 volt....

Some ameteks are an awful lot better than others......
