hi bob,
have a look on the 4hv forum. mainly high voltage stuff and Tesla coils,but there are quite a few power electronics designers on there as well. solid state Tesla coils form an excellent test bed for high power mosfets and igbts. plenty of gate drive circuits are discussed. the manufactures websites also have lots of useful info as well.
