Your article is excellent and the sort that I like to read on this website. It just shows what an uphill battle it is to convince the less well informed what renewable energy is all about.

You well deserve the panels that the Madam in question seems to think as ghastly.

You seem to have a good 'friend' in the 'city' licensing and inspection department. It would be worth your while to keep this gentleman as a persona grata friend and perhaps invite him and his Mrs around for a BBQ if you have such things. He has friends too, and a good word spoken about you to others is a a future treasure that may be of great value to you and others.

Nice to hear from you.
He wasn't originally a friend, they've just seen me so many times from this "lady" he's gotten to know me. All the local union boys know me from years pasy when I belonged to the local IBEW

When I passed the original wires through the house ( where the light is above the awning) I had to get another permit and prove again that I sorta knew what I was doing.

We have BBQs :-), I have 4 grills, two charcoal, one propane and one rigged for (burning shhh!! don't tell) Hydrogen!! or methane depending on regulator :-)
So when I fire these things up, the whole neighborhood starts coming around.
The 5 Liter Heinys are for my yet unknown to the city small VAWT :-)

I have a kit from Windstuff -ed and its a great teahcing aide, now I'm going to help it grow into a full fledged AA charger.

All the neighbours around here are fine with my stuff, or if they aren't they havent said anything .. you just must be unlucky to have bad neighbours .. :(
