I am working to convert an exercise bike which I installed an automotive alternator to axial flux just for gatherings where lots of people can get on a pedal. Although everything which has be stated here is doubtless true, I still look forward to finding out how much more energy efficient the permanent magnet alternator is than the electromagnet alternator out of a car. It a just for fun project and the alternator will probably make to the top of a tower where it belongs, I need more practice making axial flux alts, that's it
