The LED module is 27ma each, total draw 220ma for 8 modules, if as claimed!? The VW solar panel is the older cell type with the lighter plug, why?

The "27" keeps showing up. (3.4W / 12.6V = 270ma)
Just another thing to keep me in my state of confusion.

The old VW PVs make more than that 175ma on the sticker. Some nearly 300ma.
I wondered, if yours was a new one, what ma it made.

I think you will be impressed with how it works when it is done.

Sorry ghurd, I had planned on 10 modules, but only used 8 and thats where the 3.4w came from :>

(12.6v x 27ma)= 0.34w/module x 8 modules = 2.72w total
(27ma x 8 modules)= 216ma + 4ma(for motion detector)= 220ma total

The VW panel is one of the old ones, 18.8vdc @ 170ma. It will have to do for now!

I received the LED modules and installed them yesterday. I found that the wiring to the detector circuit board needs a little touch-up with solider, other than that, everything is looking good so far :)
