Would be nice if there was someway easy to compare
the amount of lumens that some of these
leds produce.....for instance I have a 20 led
tentlight that I got from Kmart that puts out a
pretty good light for about an hour with 5.6 VDC
(4AA...700Ma/hr...)seems like it used about 350Ma
at that voltage.
So I'm curious if yours are brighter....wondering
if yours were to be hooked up to say 8 700Ma.AAs
and starting out at 11.2 How long it would take to
drop to 10 volts?
Just one of my quests to find a pretty bright
led light that will last about 4 hrs at night
and enough batteries to do the job and
yet be able to be charged with a VW panel under
the best conditions....(kinda a show off thing).

Well, some on-line shops (and even some of the packaging) lists lumens out for Watts in, which is key.

Otherwise you get all sorts of handwaving/garbage Watts-of-Halogen-on-murky-day-in-darkest-Peru-Watts-equivalent...

Show me the LUMENS! (And power draw... And price. And light colour... And blackjack... And ho^W um...)
