BTW - the yard guy said it probably weighs in 3000+lbs and I can get it for $0.50/lb. But somebody has put a deposit on it before I did. Waiting...

Not sure if this is gen for me :D

Michigan only allows you to sell back 30kw max (I think), so it might be a little overkill.

I can't imagine trying to put that thing up on a tower!! The cost of building a tower for that would be a bit much for a DIY project. It would be great for a DIY Hydro project though!!
