hi insmooth, nice looking windgen. here are a few pictures of what i did that might help you. i am seventy years old and seriously disabled but active and cannot climb so i built a 42 ft. tiltup and it works ok, then i came up with something a lot better and faster. i can change out two different windmills on this 47 ft above ground tower in about 30 mi. with a couple of rest breaks through in.
i used fiberglass lightpoles but the system should work with a lattice type tower. i used heavy gage overhead door track and four roller type rollers (this was salvaged from my shop doors, double 8'x10' both ends of building, that had been changed to hinges before i bought the place. i made a carrage to carry the wingin to the top of the tower stub over the top of the pole enough for the mill to follow the wind and stay verticle. installed a heavy duty baring pully at the top and run a 5/16 wire rope from ground to ground over the top of the pole and tied it to a boat wench mounted to the back of the pole. just mount the gen on the stub and crank her up.

you might have to install a section of pipe high enough over the tower top to clear the blades if the tower top is two wide at the top. the carrage will carry the two track side guys attached to it as it goes up to clear passage up pepa

Do you have some close-up pictures of your track mechanism and how the gen assembly mounts on the track?

Nice pictures.  I would do this, but I don't think I will have a solid monopole.  How did you know that your pole would tolerate the wind forces in your area?

Pepa,

with regards to your tilt tower above:
how tall
what diameter (OD) pipe
how did you weld the pipes together to get from the larger OD to the smaller one
