First of all, I would NEVER encourage ANYBODY to do anything that was less than appropriate, but...
I recall reading somewhere about a homwowner who purchased and installed an heating-oil burning storage tank and furnace that was UL and code-approved, and after the inspector signed off on it, I was appalled to read that the homeowner adapted it to use WVO (whatever THAT is) with some of the exhaust warming a coil of the incoming oil to thin it.
If you catch anybody doing this, please warn them of the dangers (after you first post some pictures...)
