Kyocera made thin film panels for quite a while.

"Yet" could be replaced with "formerly tried it, and don't do it any more"?

I got more info, they are actually:

"Modules are BP 970 L a discontinued line and without warranty. They work great, are brand new and from a great company. We have 2 cases left."

A quick Google search shows BP Solar had a thin film factory close to here and shut it down.
