David,
Very nice job, looks very clean and professional. Just one thing to think about- typically the heat sink is mounted so the fins are vertical to allow the heat to escape and keep the rectifiers cool. This may not be a problem but it's just something to keep in mind if your finding that things are getting a bit on the warm side, and again nice job!

The fins are oriented to allow wind to blow through them and take the heat away. They will only be heating up when there is a lot of wind anyway. ....Or at least I think thats the thought here.

After second inspection of the pictures, the alternator might be blocking some wind flow past the fins. Im sure it will still cool alright. David, please keep us posted. I like your design.
