The bridge rectifiers are rated at 1000 volts and 50 Amps. Thats the highest i could find in this type. The requirement for five rectifiers is spelt out in Hugh's book (2005).
Yes I did drill out all the holes in the nuts because I could not buy them ready drilled in Hong Kong. After getting past the fifth nut I got the knack and it became easy thereafter. The problem with working in stainless steel is that tools must be very sharp.

Indeed, and what's more, it work-hardens around the hole the moment you stop drilling. If you pause to add cutting fluid or clear chips, it will be harder than ever to get started drilling again. Ah, how many drill bits have I broken or rendered too dull...Steven Fahey[ Parent ]
