This sounds normal to me...I have a golf cart too and I notice this all the time I use the "dumb" charger (36v ez-go textron stock charger). These chargers are not smart enough to really care for batteries. Ive had better luck with using PV to charge through a charge controller better suited to make sure the batts are run through their proper charge cycles. Aftermarket charge controllers do a much better job of regulating voltage and charge duration.
