Hello to all.. From FL

Hey everyone,

I'd like to take a quick spot here to introduce myself.  My name is Adolfo, and I'm an electrical engineering student in FL.  I found this forum via online research for a power project that I'm currently working on.  You all have a ton of great, well documented and well communicated information on here.. I had to join.  I am currently converting a 2-phase motor from a dishwasher into a generator.  I don't have a lot of time and resources ($) have to remain a minimum, but I will definitely post my results on here as soon as the project is turned in.  Thanks again for all the info

Thanks Hiker, that was one of the many threads I found on here that made me join.. great stuff.  I'm using a lot of the information I've learned on here mixed with some direction from professors to get my project rolling.

lookin forward to some picts of your build...ive kinda slowed down on my wind gen. hobby..might have to hit the shop on these slow winter months up here..
