Setting up and Tuning the Lenz Education Turbine
« on: August 31, 2006, 04:23:49 PM »
Setting up and Lenz Education Turbine the first lab session

Component Testing stator winds and magnet layouts

The Wind Tunnel - for low velocity and low cost

Note fans draw air through the tunnel to avoid turbulence.  Constructed of art foam board with an inverse contraction cone at exit.  No contraction cone at air supply means students need to stay away from the opening to avoid inbound turbulence and other unwanted variances.  You can also see a three prop turbine built acetate sheets around aluminum air foils from the craft store.  Haag-Streit anemometer in left foreground, and strobotach reflector in right foreground.

Hi battle,

Learn to resize pictures properly.  There is ZERO excuse for you not resizing your pictures to under 100 KB each.
