response to 'heating with leaves'
« on: October 14, 2004, 09:41:06 PM »
I wish I could figure out how to respond 'within your post' and not have to do it in a seperate colum.  It got me thinking that if you could compress the leaf chips into pellets, like they do with sawdust for pellet stoves, you would have something. I sure think asprins are only power that has been compressed, I'd think hydrolicly.

I'm pretty sure that you can run leaves, or cut grass for that matter, through a pelletizer and then burn them in a pellet stove. Switch glass seems to be a popular fuel up north.

Just a note...

WE accidently had the setting Wrong for this catagory so that folks could not post comments!  Too bad...  since i think a goo discussion on wood gas is quite interesting!

At any rate - it wasn't intentional, and its fixed now!  (sorry about that)

If I ever figure out what's in the box then maybe I can think outside of it.
