Has anyone ever tried to embed solar cells in their RC airplane? Could there be enough power to substantially increase the flight time of a plane?
I want to try it with my plane, but would anyone know where i can find cheap and/or light solar cells. They don't have to be protected (to reduce weight). They would need to overcome the 6v 250mA NiMH flight battery on board the plane (which yeilds about 7 minutes of flight).
