I was looking though postings, but could not find anything.
Has anyone attempted using a car alt. for a wind gen?
I was pondering the ability to control input voltage/amperage in accordance with the wind speed. I can also buy Semi Alt's at cost including 24V 200A.
Also While sleeping at work today, I realized I have a great resource for winding wire and magnets. I work at a Semi-truck dealer, and when there is no core on altenators or Starter motors, they get pitched. Allot of high gauge winding wire and large, but no neo's, Magnets.
