I'd like to share Anthony Howe's most stunning 'Octo' wind powered sculpture - I absolutely love it!!
Available in HD if you select it.

In fact Anthony Howe's channel is very impressive.

Ben.

Art in motion !!
I'd say that would be something to put up around the NIMBY folks!
Reminds me of Fractals in motion.
Thanks!

Reminds me of the 60's.  I bet it would be stunning in person.

Build 3 of them and a large triangle structure mount that on a central telescoping tower mount the 3 whatsits one the corners laser small slots in some of the cups aim  multi colored rotating lights at them
raise the tower at night with just the right wind when the nimbys see and hear it they will swear they are being invaded by UFOs

I'd be sorely tempted to try to put a generator in it, but the mechanics might be too horrible!

Hi

I want one. Just to sit and watch it at times of stress and encounters with authority and important people.

There used to be a guy called Emmet back in the 40s and early 50s did mobile sculptures, he would have been impressed with that.

i would be a nervous wreck if i had one in my field. i worry enough about whether the wind turbine will still be there after a force 10 storm. something for the low wind areas i think. very beautiful, i wonder what the maximum recommended wind speed is. be a shame to see it trashed in a gale. bet they are not cheap.
if i cant fix it i can fix it so it cant be fixed.
