see any good lines to follow for blades?
« on: February 13, 2005, 05:42:21 AM »

I've got a 12" or 14" v-belt pulley hub that is in need to have lexan blades attached.

These bagel-bin lids were binned by local yuppie grocery store, and are the toughest least scratchable plastic glazing I've ever seen. I can only flex it 1/2 inch or so warping it over my knee trying to snap it like kindling...

12" wide X 16" long & 1/4" thick. I've got a dozen of them - even at shortest dimension of 12" extending beyond the 14" pulley rim that's still a 38" blade and probably the biggest I can do in the city. I'd like to put 8 blades on the hub if they are thin and 4 if wide...

the black, green, and red angles in above pictures are my favorites so far...

The Red one is kind of like my 5 gallon pail blades. Kind of like a stubby ZubWoofer's.  Still don't know how they will work.

You may have some trailing edges off. (I 'think' they should be 90'?) A Search for the ZubWoofer plans might help you.
