'Swastika' spoked altenator inquirey
« on: June 08, 2005, 03:58:08 AM »
A few months back an experimenter showed a bent vaned flat spoked

idea for a thin radial single rotor PM altenator. I'd like to

build on his idea and no sure I can re invent this wheel w/o some

advise. Can the author or someone ping back with connections?

I can't remember the subject line or its code name for any search

results but it reminds me of the hindu good luck symbol so thats the

name association here OK, its found many places in India especially

on moving/traveling things.

It was 4-6 flat vanes, bent 90' at tips, which were location of the

coil wraps, the magnets spun by on a disc or simllar vanes facing this.
