I am not sure if request falls into the wind area ... but well, I built a pancake stator (OD is roughly 8", thickness is 2" and would like to place typical motor endbells on each side.They have the bearing holders incorporated so this would make my project very simple to complete. Typical three phase motor endbells are fine, but here is my problem. Where does one buy typical spare part endbells? I contacted the big motor guys, Baldor etc. and they said nay. I talked to a motor repair shop and they looked puzzled. I do not want to shift through junk yards, rather buy s.th. off the shelf.
Any suggestions?
