i was just wondering how many wind would one need form what gaude wire to step down 10,000 volts to 120 and less???

The ratio between primary and secondary voltage will be the same as the ratio between the primary and secondary windings,[eg. 10,000 turns on the primary and 120 turns on the secondary] plus 10 to 15 percent more turns on the secondary for losses. If this come out OK, the tables indicate core size for desired wattage and wire size for amps required. [figuring on 1000 circular mills per amp]
