Hi, read on the SETI thread about using 12v to power lcd panels. I'd like to learn more about this. Is this a hardware hack or are some designed to run on 12v? I have heard of people modifying displays with white LED lighting to replace the flourescent? backlighting. Good idea?
Also - does anyone know much about the Apple airport express? They look like a great idea, but I need it to run on dc power. Is there a power converter involved that changes ac input to dc (wall wart??) Any help would be appreciated.
