Battery Back Buss Bar

   Hello All

  I am Looking For some kind of buss bar to tie 5 Batteries together. So I don't have so many wires on the battery back.

I can find Buss Bars for one battery and then can run wire off that. But i am Looking to Tie the Mains Together.

  One long bar to tie all the Pos. together and one to tie all the Neg. together. I can make something if I had the time, seems like thats one of the thing i am short on all the time.

   If i did Make one what would been the best Material to use?

Lead, Steel,? I would need to also cover it in some kind of rubber then also so not to have that Sparky Stuff Going On.

   Witch dose happen some time.

You probally are not concerned but tying all batteries together like you propose will negate the ability to fuse each bank.

go to an electricail shop and ask for sume rubber tape or some shrink wrap tape and cover them with one or the other. When using rubber tape cover it with regular election's tape. Be sure and clean the lugs you put on the bus bar some have a protective coating on them for longterm storage.Just some ideas
