A free multi-converter for Windows
« on: February 13, 2019, 02:52:41 PM »
Here is a handy multi-converter that I have been using since the days of Windows 98.
As far as I know it works with all versions of Windows.
11658-0

It is totally free, very small (153 Kb) and requires NO installation.

Download it here:

We had some good calculators uploaded to the forum a while back.  Once we realized we were being solicited by a third party not the actual owner, we couldn't back up fast enough... This is done right.

now off to the pub to link Eminence Front

I was checking this program and its seems to work until it opens that window. I think this would qualify as something were interested in to run live here on the forum. Our coder is out till next week but will bring it up If he hasn't seem it already by then.

The other calculators that we had were able to run live on the site, and it worked good.

I don't understand what you mean by "seems to work until it opens that window"

Can you clarify that please?

What im saying is there is a way to see and use the calculator and not have to download it. It can be installed on the forum and used directly from this topic.

When you hover over the calculator and click on it, it opens a new window. But is not functioning that way.

It would be nice if it can be used directly on this website. If you can contact the program creator, Josh Madison, maybe he would be willing to help you and your tech guy with the coding to incorporate it to this site.

I tried that link to allaboutcircuits.com with 2 browsers, Internet Explorer and also with Chrome. I land on the website but none of the calculators work for me.

Also, that image that I posted before with the link below the image to download the Converter program looks so real that I feel tempted to click on it. When I do, it opens on a separate window. Then I click on the image but nothing happens!!!  :D

I wonder if that is what JW did when he said:

“When you hover over the calculator and click on it, it opens a new window. But is not functioning that way”

JW, if that is what happened, don't be embarrassed. That has happened to me dozens of times before.
