a happy contented sound
« on: July 06, 2013, 07:55:29 AM »
just been checking the PH of my bank of 8 surrette 460s and heard what sounded like someone breathing. being as there is only me and the cat here i was somewhat puzzled till i realised it was the battery bank gently sighing. a full bank and and a hot sunny day. solar is putting a nice gentle 5 amps into the bank, charge controller is saying full bank, hydrometer is in the green. now if i could say that in the middle of december i will be really happy.
if i cant fix it i can fix it so it cant be fixed.

That's a great feeling, isn't it?
I still remember that first day my system got the batteries up to float...
held them there...
green light on the charge controller...
diversion load humming...

Satisfaction.
No one believes the theory except the one who developed it. Everyone believes the experiment except the one who ran it.
