simple way of replacing batteries in cordless drill packs

Norm:
gluing together into pairs
tabs are solder to negative
making up half a dozen pairs they are p laced in the
bottom part of the pack in a pattern
each pair is numbered 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, 9 and 10, etc.
  tabs are soldered to connect 2 to 3, 4 to 5, 6 to 7, etc.
