looks like a fancy 208vac baseboard heater.

--except its actually 50 ohms.. so that's 707 vac.
My wife says I'm not just a different colored rubik's cube, i am a rubik's knot in a cage.

I googled the specs on this thing:

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CCAQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.birdrf.com%2F~%2Fmedia%2FBird%2FFiles%2FPDF%2FProducts%2Fmanuals%2F920-8930S.ashx&ei=2YU2VP2wNon5yQSiy4GQAg&usg=AFQjCNGV-AuegpQF2HFIHDxANl3XmUcUNw&bvm=bv.76943099,d.aWw

I'm not at all familiar with “reject loads for single and double sideband transmitters”, but electrically it appears to be have a 115VAC, 1-ph rating.  Without the fans it is has a 2,500w rating which would make more sense.  This would put it at about 22A, 5 ohms.

Thermally it looks like it could dump a lot of energy.  Hopefully someone with more experience on these will contribute.
