Not quite renewables, and most people on FL are thinking so much harder about their energy usage tan the average bear that this stuff is well below pay grade, but I thought I'd share with you one of my projects anyway:

Basically: how to save northern Europeans, especially Brits, a load of money currently wasted on (~£300/$400 per year per home), potentially improve comfort and make life simpler, and (ulterior motive spoiler alert ...) drastically cut carbon emissions.
