Hi
I needed to test if my battery bank was refusing to accept charge or I had a problem somewhere else.
The test today involved 3 hot drinks and my lunch (noodles) in proving that the energy was available from my 550Wp panels and charge controller if it could be used/absorbed:

You could make your own hot plate with one of these and stay well within power limits. Inexpensive, too. 60 watts ought to be enough to make a cup of coffee. Some silicone-free heat sink grease would help transfer heat to a stainless steel cup mounted to the plate.

That particular item is not available to ship to the. But I do have two huge Seebeck devices in my shed, unused, which might be pressed into service!
