simple rotors

This 3 page file consists of a two page translated extract from a Danish school textbook from 1988 by O.A. Oksbjerg. The textbook is for 11-15 years-old school pupils on the construction of small wind turbine generators and electronic wind speed measuring equipment.
Plus an an additional download page from the net.

hi john ....thats an interesting looking design am i right in thinging that the leading egde is the sloped side of the blade ? my brother builds model planes and the higher performance props use this kind of off set blade design ...i like the idea of pvc props as im new to this stuff and its a quick answer to making a blade
