Anyone ever think of configuring a VAWT like a

Any reason why a "wind deva" couldn't be scaled up in size for a suitable VAWT?
Go on "Google" and punch in "wind deva" and you'll see something that looks like a long, twisted plastic ribbon which are meant to be outdoor wind ornaments.  Just wondering, this could be done on a larger scale with suitable material.

   These wouldn't be very efficient go to http://www.windside.com/frames.htm for a better design that would look like divas but will actually produce power. (:>) Norm.
