Two coils down eight to go : )

Have a question  on how they are wired

Got my coil winder built today.
And the  coils don't look to bad if you don't look to close : )

Does this sound right?

When I have all ten coils I tie all the coil start leads together
.And then  going from 1 thru 10 with the coil finish  leads.
Coils 1 an 2   form one pair to the AC input of one  bridge  rectifier.
Coils 3 and 4 from a pair to another rectifier and so on.

seems like you would have a low voltage output, [2 coils].per rectifier..
but a whole lota amps!!
if you want volts try single phase--hook all coils in series--n.s.n.s.n.s-and so on.
just hook a batt up when you connect your coils togeather--then hold a mag. over each coil,it should attract and then repell and so on..so are you using 10 mags as well?need 10 for single phase..10 mags 10 coils..or try 3 phase 9 coils 12 mags..
later.............

If that's Hugh's design, or based on it, you are quite right about the connections.

Tie the starts together and each finish goes to an ac terminal on the rectifier.

It doesn't matter in which order, any finish to a rectifier ac terminal.

Your coils look to have thin wire so I think it is this design.
